The best way to learn about Yinghua Academy is to participate in a guided tour to see our K-8 students and their teachers in action. In-person school tours have been temporarily cancelled until further notice in compliance with the Governor’s Executive Order 20-02. Almost as good? A Zoom tour!
You also may wish to attend one or both of Yinghua’s group presentations for prospective families. A December evening presentation is offered for parents and guardians, and an interactive Saturday morning sample class in February provides an opportunity for your family to witness immersion education in action.
DECEMBER Parent/Guardian Information Session Gather via Zoom on a weekday evening in December from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Current parents serve as panelists and leaders speak about language immersion teaching methods, the Yinghua Academy mission and curriculum, school safety, and student activities. This session is designed for parents; no children, please. Registration is not required. December 8, 2020, 6:30-8 p.m.
FEBRUARY Sample Immersion Class Gather via Zoom on a Saturday morning in February. Students remain in class for activities while parents learn about the school and ask questions of school leaders. You must register in advance for this session: https://forms.gle/1Eo2mxgMovvB57BC8.
