Yinghua uses “Lexia Core5” as a component of the reading curriculum. It provides personalized learning for students of all abilities through 5th Grade.

For student access to Lexia Core5, the current steps are:

On a computer or Chromebook

  1. Go to lexiacore5.com, or use your school’s custom Lexia link.
  2. If prompted to set up the device, enter the teacher’s school email address.
  3. Confirm the correct school appears, then enter the student’s username and password. Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari are supported. 

On an iPad

  1. Download the Lexia Core5 Reading app from the Apple App Store.
  2. Open the app and follow the school’s setup instructions.
  3. Log in with the student’s username and password. 

For Clever or ClassLink

Students should sign in through that school portal and select the Core5 icon. On an iPad, install both the Core5 app and the Clever or ClassLink app, then start from the portal app.

Current device requirements: For 2026–27, Chrome must be version 143 or newer, and iPads need iPadOS 16 or newer. Core5 does not support Android devices or phones.
