DRAGON ATHLETIC PLEDGE I will do my best to represent my team, school and coach in a respectful manner. I accept the responsibilities of being part of a team: cooperation, respect (both on and off the court), sportsmanship, working hard and supporting my teammates. I will work hard in the classroom to keep up with my academic responsibilities.
SPORTS BOOSTER: Promoting and supporting participation, sportsmanship and the student athlete. Yinghua Athletics is looking for parents who are interested in helping with the development of the athletic program. All types of support is needed. If you are interested please contact Sarah Totall.
Athletic Program Mission Statement: To prepare our student athletes to be respectful, successful and happy competitors by providing a safe and supportive sports experience within a fun, challenging, well-rounded and well-organized athletic program.
At Yinghua Academy we believe that participation in athletics plays an important and valuable role in the social-emotional growth of students and also recognize the positive impact sports can have on student leadership and learning. In addition to teaching athletic skills, a successful sports program allows student athletes to foster friendships, develop confidence, teach sportsmanship and build self-esteem. Coaches are needed for all seasons and all teams. If you have questions, please contact Athletic Coordinator, Sarah Totall.
