Dear Parents,
On Friday, October 14th, your child brought home materials regarding Yinghua Academy’s Read-A-Thon fundraiser. These materials included an envelope with a pledge form attached for your convenience, and an information/minutes read record sheet. Please note that the infomation/minutes read record sheet is one page that is double sided!!! The goal of this fundraiser is twofold. First, to raise money to support Yinghua Academy programs, such as Orchestra, Responsive Classroom training and Differentiated Instruction training. Second, it is a way for our children to help contribute to their place of learning with one of their most important academic skills…reading. Our team goal, with 447 Yinghua student participants, is $13,000, and 134,100 minutes read. All pledge envelopes are to be returned to your student’s homeroom teacher, and are due no later than Friday, October 28th, 8:30 am. Classroom and individual prizes will be awarded during the all student assembly on Friday afternoon, October 28th. Participation rewards will be sent home with your student the following week.  XIE XIE!  Thanks for your participation and support!
