Fundraising

YACA helps support many aspects of Yinghua Academy’s mission.  Fundraising provides the critical financial resources for this support.  YACA focuses on a short list of high impact fundraisers. We keep our efforts efficient and fun! If you’ve ever attended one of our events, you know how amazing they are.

Fundraising campaigns are designed to attract donors from all levels and from both inside and outside of the Yinghua Academy community. The YACA Board and school administrators approve the campaigns each spring for the following school year, but welcome suggestions year-round!  Fundraising wouldn’t be successful without the generous past and future financial and time commitments of all Yinghua Academy’s supporters!  We hope the list below helps you plan where and when you will be able to donate to the Yinghua community and your student’s academic year.  And of course, all these event are supported by many parent volunteers; consider volunteering as another way to give back to the Yinghua Community.

YACA (Yinghua Academy Foundation) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so all donations are tax deductible.  If you would like a tax deductible receipt, please provide us with your e-mail address and we will send it to you electronically.

Xie! Xie!The income raised supports many academic, artistic, and community building events that strive to provide enriching experiences for school staff, teachers, student, and parents of Yinghua Academy.  Some examples include:

School Support Students Family and Community Building
Admin. and Teacher Professional Development Opportunities Library and Book Fairs Chinese New Year Performance
Teacher Appreciation Gifts Nourishment Team Artistic Partnerships Picnics, Kite Festival/Grandparents’ Day
Classroom Coordinators Student-lead Initiatives First Friday Coffees
Classroom Technology Spelling Bee Spirit Wear and School (supplies) Tool Box Orders

Again, these are a just few examples where fundraising helps to build and maintain an exceptional place of learning for all our children.

Please explore the list of fundraising events and current fundraising page to find out about specific fundraising events to help you plan where and when you will be able to donate to support your child’s enrichment and the broader Yinghua community.

See our Fundraising Events 2013 – 2014 below for this year’s list of fundraisers. All donations (not for products) are tax-deductible.   If you would like a tax deductible receipt, please provide us with your e-mail address and we will send it to you electronically.
