Immersion Mandarin Professionals Acquire Coaching and Training (IMPACT)
Teacher Training Program

IMPACT Teacher Training Program is a combination of 2 weeks of immersion theory and practical teaching strategies training and professional development, combined with hands-on application of theory in a 2-week paid internship where participants gain classroom experience. The program is designed for new or novice Chinese immersion teachers, those hoping to broaden their skills in immersion teaching, or who have been teaching in immersion classrooms for only a couple years or less.

The total training program will run from July 11-August 5, from 8-3 pm daily.
Trainees will have the opportunity to earn CEUs. Cost for the 4-week training is $500, but trainees will also receive a $1200 stipend as interns assisting the summer camp for grades K-3 (stipend given following successful completion of the internship).
