Yinghua Academy is pleased to provide busing service for its families residing both inside and outside the Minneapolis School District. We have contracted with Minnesota Central School Bus Company to provide school bus services for our students.  Please call the bus terminal directly to ask any questions or to inform them of any changes:

Minnesota Central Bus Company will run the same three school bus routes that have been established for previous school years. All busses are scheduled to arrive at school at 8:20 a.m. and depart from school at 3:25p.m. Students are not marked tardy if  a bus arrives late in the morning. Minnesota Central Bus Company will provide extended services to our families; most notably, parents may contact the school bus terminal and switchboard directly with any questions. Please read the Introductory Letter from the bus company for further information.

For families living inside the MPS district, before and after school bus transportation is provided at no cost. Students are picked-up and dropped-off either as close to their house as possible or at the nearest corner. However, to limit the length of the bus ride to under one hour, some students may be picked up at a more distant location.

For families living outside the district, before and after school bus transportation is provided for an average monthly fee based upon the number of riders. Students are picked-up and dropped off at strategically-placed hub stops. To keep rates low and fixed, families are asked to commit to bussing for the entire school year.

Bussing is a safe, efficient and convenient transportation alternative, and Yinghua does its best to be flexible and accommodating in offering this service.
