Fundraising is an important part of Yinghua Academy.   The income raised supports many academic efforts at Yinghua Academy, and many different events and communications sponsored by YACA.  Some examples are listed here:  1/Teacher training–Responsive Classroom, Differentiated Instruction and special sessions with experts such as Mimi Met.  2/Teacher salaries–we are in a period of exponential growth for Chinese language teaching in the United States, and our teachers are sought out.  Parents can help us to retain our teachers who are well trained and highly sought after by competitors.  3/Classroom support–access to state of the art teaching supplies, technology and training for use of technology, such as classroom smart boards.  4/Community building– school directories, general membership meetings, teacher appreciation gifts, creating and maintaing a staff lounge.  Again, these are a just few examples where fundraising helps to build and maintain an exceptional place of learning for all our children.
